Obituary of Albert Orren Blue Died Oct. 22, 1988 Albert 'Al' O. Blue Sr. Flint-Albert "Al" O. Blue Sr., 79, a native of Fife Lake, died Saturday at Flint Osteopathic Hospital. He worked 40 years for the A.C. Spark Plug Company in Flint, where he was a member of St. Christopher's Episcopal Church. The son of Roy and Cora Blue, he was born in Fife Lake on August 10, 1909. He was married to the former Ruth H. Hammond, who survives. Also, surviving are three sons, Albert Blue Jr. of Oklahoma City, Okla., William R. Blue of Flint and Richard Blue of Durand; a daughter, Mary Ann Coggins of Flushing; two step-children; 24 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; and other relatives in the Kingsley area. A memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the St. Christopher's Episcopal Church, 4417 S. Saginaw St Burton, MI. The Rev. F. Robert Davidson will officiate. Private burial will be in Sunset Hills Cemetery in Flint. Arrangements were made by the Brown Funeral Home in Flint.
